(?), n. [1st uro- + hmatin.] (Physiol. Chem.) Urinary hmatin; -- applied to the normal coloring matter of the urine, on the supposition that it is formed either directly or indirectly (through bilirubin) from the hmatin of the blood. See Urochrome, and Urobilin.
