(?), n. [Cf. Pg. ema ostrich, F. mou, meu, emu.] (Zol.) A large Australian bird, of two species (Dromaius Nov-Hollandi and D. irroratus), related to the cassowary and the ostrich. The emu runs swiftly, but is unable to fly.
