(?), n. [Gr. cloak + fe`rein to bear.] (Zol.) A small South American edentate (Chlamyphorus truncatus, and Chlamyphorus retusus) allied to the armadillo. It is covered with a leathery shell or coat of mail, like a cloak, attached along the spine.
