Car"di*al`gy(?), } n. [NL. cardialgia, fr. Gr. ; heart + pain: cf. F. cardialgie.] (Med.) A burning or gnawing pain, or feeling of distress, referred to the region of the heart, accompanied with cardiac palpitation; heartburn. It is usually a symptom of indigestion.
